Camo Cats is the result of a material study in ceramic mold-making. In order to learn mold-making techniques I set for myself a series of challenges. I chose this cat because it is a complicated form, and therefore it provides a great educational opportunity for mold-making. As I made mistakes and experimented, the cats eventually evolved into distinctive characters with individual attitudes. Since the cats left my possession, I documented them through a series of photographs in their respective settings.
